This presentation was delivered at the 23rd International Congress of Biometeorology (ICB 2023) on May 14-17, 2023, in Tempe, Arizona, USA.

This presentation emphasizes the importance of accurate microclimate measurements in assessing the viability of parks as Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) for mitigating urban overheating in Singapore. Our research aims to quantify microclimate differences in various setups, identifying the most suitable configuration for tropical climates. Additionally, we investigate the Park Cool Island extent in our study area to determine the effectiveness of parks as NbS in cooling urban environments. Our findings contribute valuable insights for urban planning, aligning with the Singapore government's goal of providing a park within a 10-minute walk of every household.
