In recent
years, there has been an increasing interest among researchers to investigate
the efficacy of mindfulness within the educational sector. However, the
majority of existing studies have focused on intrapersonal effects, such as
the benefits of mindfulness interventions experienced by specific student or
teacher samples. Set within a tertiary institution in Singapore, the present
research examines the relations of teachers' trait and state mindfulness with
classroom and student outcomes as well as the potential mediating
mechanisms.
