of employing surveys and quantitative empirical research methods, this paper
has set out to understand the antecedents to SMEs intention to innovate in
services within the Singapore context.</p>
<br>
<p>Internal organisational factors such as organisational learning,
mission and the firm‟s innovation experience were found to have an effect on
the firm's intention to innovate, and when factored with the moderating
effects of the environmental factors such as availability of external funding
and societal expectations, several interesting findings
emerged.</p><br>
<p>These findings would be of consequence to the top managers of SMEs
and researchers alike, in an effort to understand the behavior of SMEs in the
domain of innovation in services.</p></td></tr></table>
